Returned to his Champ Car team and CART administration after a brief and throroughly miserable time as head of the Ford side of the Jaguar F1 project. In 2004, he followed Adrian Fernandez in switching his team from CART to IRL, and he now also has an ALMS team. Also now very frequently appears at historic events, and is now also the co-owner and competition director of US based Legends of Motorsport Series, in which he also drives.
