Was with Renault as engineering director, but for his role in the Singapore GP race fixing scandal, he was banned from the sport for 5 years. Still involved with F1 in the only form allowed to him at present, as a consultant, with the Marussia F1 team, but he is doing as much as can be allowed with them in the likelihood he will be their technical director in time. Also currently writing technical articles for F1 racing and a French magazine, and runs his own successful engineering consultancy firm.
