After his spell at Arrows, Robinson later worked as a chief track engineer for McLaren, Williams and BAR. Now lives in Buckinghamshire. Was a race engineer in GP2, A1 GP and British F3 and then worked for Rebellion Racing, who are in the World Endurance Championship, mainly, as a race engineer. ames' main role, however, is as CEO and engineering director of his own engineering consultancy, Calin, based near Milton Keynes. Robinson was a pioneer of Computer-Aided Design in Formula 1, initially working for Williams in the 1980's, before moving to Arrows in 1989.
