Highly rated engineer, who enjoyed a long and varied career in Formula 1. He was the Caterham Group's Chief Technical Officer and CEO of Caterham Technology and Caterham Composite until February 2015, after previously being involved in the Caterham entry for F1 as a designer and technical director. Once he left F1, Mike took up sailing, his other love, and also works as a consultant and in the media. His main role now is running his own maritime, aviation, motorsport and automobile engineering consultancy, MGI, but in 2017, he returned to the sport to design and develop the Formula 1 2-seater car which is increasing its visits to Grand Prix. Amongst other pastimes, Mike has played cricket, climbed mountains, paraglided and even raced himself, in the BOSS GP series in 1999.
