Ex-rally co-driver, who remains head of the engineering company Prodrive, who almost, but ultimately didn't enter F1 in 2008. Currently also involved in motorsport and rally administration, who was especially linked with Subaru, and in 2007, bought out the Aston Martin car company. Awarded a CBE in 2005, he survived a helicopter crash in 2007, on the same day his former driver Colin McRae died in a similar crash. Also involved in LMS and Australian touring cars.
