Sister of Sir Alfred and Ernest Owen, wife of Louis Stanley. She died after a long illness, caused by a stroke. She attended BRM reunions and historic festivals until her ill-health. A strong, proud lady, Jean didn't shy away from the family interest in motor racing and was seen at race events from the 1950's onwards. In 1974, although the Owen family left BRM, she retained some family interest by taking over the company with her husband and helped Louis run the business for another few seasons.
