Better known as a supermodified racer. Has been based in the US for a while now. Mainly runs a fabrication business in North Carolina, but did continue to race in supermodified events until 2010, deciding that at the age of 50, it was best to concentrate on his business. During the mid-to-late 1980's, Doug excelled in supermodfied cars, winning the 1984 Oswego Speedway Rookie of the Year title. He also won three track titles at Oswego before trying single-seater racing for a short while. Didero's fabrication work includes work on NASCAR cars as well as as road cars for special shows and exhibitions.
