Still racing, now over 75, although mainly in historics now. Occasionally in hillclimb or rally events though, as well. Also has BMW management roles, but this has not slowed him down one bit! Quester actually began racing in speedboats, winning two European Championships in his class and then raced in motorcycles. He took up racing in 1964 in hillclimbing before becoming a BMW legend after joining them one year later. He won the 1977 and 1983 European Touring Car Championship and the over 1600cc class in the ETCC in 1968 and 1969, as well as the Nurburgring 1000kms in 1976.
