A regular sportscar driver, who also appeared in hillclimbs. Jean-Claude appeared in a few events in 1974, having bought a March 742 to compete in a season of Formula 2. He qualified for the events at the Salzburgring and Karlskoga, but not for Mugello or Hockenheim. Jean-Claude was a good friend of Jacques Laffite and Laffite often stayed at Jean-Claude's alpine cottage near Montreux to enjoy ski-ing with his friend. Jean-Claude began racing in the 1960's, racing on until 1974, in saloon cars (Impala) and the aforementioned sportscars (Sunbeam Imp and Chevron B23 mostly).
