Worked with Penske for years until the late 1980's. He was inducted in the Georgia Hall of Fame in the mid 00's, an event he attended, but he became increasingly frail and after a fall, and a bout of ill-health, he died recently. Started as a stunt driver before becoming one of NASCAR's early stars.
