A Bugatti legend, Pierre, part of the famous family, later became a coach-builder. Died in a road accident when the car he was travelling in, driven by fellow racing driver Count Trossi, crashed at a crossing. Pierre was thrown out and his head hit the pavement, dying later in hospital. A Spanish citizen, but lived almost all his life in France. He loved cars and aeroplanes and financed Ettore Bugatti''s first factory car, racing them, as well as, later on, members of his family. Pierre's most notable win was the 1921 Barcelona Penya Rhin Grand Prix.
