Little-known dirt-track racer, who raced in the early 1930's. Aiken's only attempt at Indianapolis didn't last long; he crashed his Stutz into the northwest turn at around 100mph, but was lucky to escape with just bruising. Full nme was Allan Crooks Aiken, he died when he was struck by a taxi when walking across the Tropicana Strip in Las Vegas. He worked for the Curtis-Wright aviation company in New York after racing, and early on in his working life, he worked as a motor mechanic for the Maxwell motor company.
