Now retired from racing, and runs his own motorsport marketing business (BRM), specialising in sponsorship and brand awareness in motorsport. He has run this since 1996 from his base in Charlotte, North Carolina. Amongst the drivers he has worked with are Raul Boesel, Josef Newgarden and Sheldon Creed. Formerly worked as a marketing executive for the B4 marketing agency and was also involved with the US Formula 1 project as an advertising executive. Bonner went into marketing in 1994 and then finished racing in 1996. Up until 1985, Bonner raced in motocross before switching to four wheels.
