Often listed as Edward, EH Parker's full name was actually Edwin Hill Parker. A regular road course entrant from 1909 onwards, who did well at Portland, Lowell and Savannah, Parker finished second in his FIAT in the 1909 Vanderbilt Cup race. He also competed in endurance events, including the famed Brighton Beach endurance race. Parker was a member of the FIAT team and worked as a test driver for the company in their Poughkeepsie manufacturing base. More steady than fast, he was highly thought of by FIAT, where he worked for many years and even travelled to Europe in 1905 in his FIAT. Often listed as being from New York City, where he moved to at the turn of the century, Parker worked as a car salesman for Packard, He died after a short illness, developing a cold which manifested into a number of ailments.
