Greg now runs a engineering and technology business in Fort Wayne, Indiana, which is especially devoted to gears, whether it be designing, inspecting or shaping them etc. Leffler's racing career was largely spent in sprint cars and in 1980, he became the USAC Sprint Car Champion. Leffler's father owned a race shop and built engines and chassis for sprint and midget cars, which Greg took up at a very young age. When he was twenty-one he sold everything, got a business loan and bought his own sprint car, which he then built and raced. In 1984, he was approached by March to distribute their cars and parts in the United States and then four years after that, he decided to start his own company, selling cars, parts, and transmissions to Indy, NASCAR, and Formula One teams around the world. However Greg was not getting the full profits from this, so he set up his own business. To expand on the above with the gears, they manufacturesspur and helical gears, both internal and external, do carbide rehobbing and skiving and do gear finish rolling amongst many other services.
