NASCAR champion in 2021, Larson attempted the Indianapolis 500, a long-held wish, in 2024. A regular in NASCAR and NASCAR Xfinity, he has a background in dirt-track racing, including winning at the famed Chili Bowl Nationals. He has also raced in sportscars in the Daytona 24 Hours, winning in 2015. Of Japanese ancestry, Larson is brother-in-law to NASCAR driver Brad Sweet. Larson has raced over 300 times in NASCAR races, winning over 20 races since 2016. He is also a regular Xfinity winner (over 15 wins) and has won in ARCA and Craftsman Truck races too.
