Hispania (2010-2012)

Briefly technical director for Hispania in 2010, then chief engineer at the team, and then in 2012, he returned back as technical director at the team until HRT's collapse. Toni then went to BMW in the DTM in a similar role as chief engineer before joining Ferrari in 2015 in an engineering and aerodynamic role. 2017 saw him leave Ferrari and join Movistar as a technical commentator on their F1 TV coverage. Although he still does television work, he is now back in engineering as he is a design and engineering consultant for QEV Technology. Toni has also worked for Sauber and Super Aguri as a race engineer, which he also did in the Nissan V6 World Series. He also has experience in the Seat Leon Supercup, Spanish Touring Car Championship and single-seater racing - joining the sport shortly after qualifying as a mechanical engineer from Valencia's university.
