Named in 2022 as Aston Martin's new team principal, Mike worked for BMW in Formula E, GT and IMSA, but also has had spells at Porsche and Sauber. At Sauber, he worked with Sebastian Vettel, who he linked up with again in 2022. He was at the Swiss team from 2001-2009. He later joined Porsche's World Endurance Championship team as head of track engineering, before returning to BMW where he worked in a number of engineering roles.
