Made a surprise return to racing in 2012, by appearing at Pikes Peak hillclimb and returned again in 2014, 2016 and 2017. Jeff also works as a racing coach for Ducati motorcycles. Jeff worked in a race car fabrication shop before being interested in racing. Now settled in Bozeman, Montana, where he runs an automobile dealership, which includes motorbikes as well as cars, but has also worked as a supply teacher, in real estate and in aeroplane leasing. He is on the Board of Directors of Montana Bible College and still uses his fabrication knowledge at his dealership to this day. Before Jeff made Formula Super Vee, CART and Formula 3000, he competed in off-road events.
