Formula South Africa programmes (1979-1986)

Formula Atlantic rules were replaced with Formula SA rules from June 1979, and the South African Drivers Championship then faded from International reporting. Unfairly so, as the peak of Formula SA over the next few seasons saw good fields and plenty of new cars, notably F2 Marchs and Maurers. OldRacingCars.com is keen to cover this series in our usual detail, but we are finding it difficult to locate race results and entry lists.

Do you have a program from one of these races and would you be willing to send a scan or photocopy of the entry list?

The main information we need from programs is just that entry list as it typically contains details of cars, entry numbers, drivers, entrants and often also car colours and drivers' home towns. If you find other articles in the program that might help us identify individual cars, we'd be very grateful for those too.
