Canadian youngster who made a rapid rise to reach Formula 1, joining Williams in 2017. This promotion followed three successive titles, winning European Formula 3 in 2016, the Toyota Racing Series in 2015 and the Italian Formula 4 championship in 2014. Lance is now based in Geneva, Switzerland. His father, Lawrence, is the owner of the Mont-Tremblant circuit but also owns a large amount of Ferrari road cars. Stroll Sr. made his considerable fortune by investing in the exportation of European fashion to Canada. After a successful debut season, he remained at Williams for 2018 before joining his father's new team, Racing Point, which Lawrence took over from the old Force India team, in 2019. He remained there, as they became Aston Martin, in 2021 and retained his seat for 2024
