Son of Neil, who is an Indy Lights team owner. RC stands for Richard Clay. Enerson made his debut at Mid-Ohio half-way through the season in 2016 after winning the Indy Lights series in 2015, and the 2014 US Formula 2000 National Series. Enerson spent three years in the latter series which followed the now-standard rise of competing in karting and then the Skip Barber feeder series. In 2017, Enerson moved to sportscars, racing in the US Sportscar Championship, but his main drive was in the 2017 Michelin Le Mans Cup series. After a few lean years on the periphery of a drive, he got another chance in Indycar in 2019 and also attempted to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 in 2021. He also made his NASCAR debut in 2021. Enerson appeared in more Indycar races in 2022 and 2023. He is also racing director and chief instructor for the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series and competes in e-racing.
