Now a longtime driver in endurance - was in the USCS, after spells in ALMS, NASCAR and Grand-Am. However, he didn't have a drive for a while and concentrated on his business. However in 2019, he returned to the sport to compete in the Blancpain GT America World Challenge series and continues in 2022 in sportscars. Lazzaro's progress up the ranks of US single seaters included winning the 1995 Hooter Formula Cup. Although he appeared in the IRL for a while, Lazzaro is better known either for stockcars - either NASCAR or ARCA or his more recent sportscar efforts and in both disciplines, it is his road course ability that has been his strongest attribute. Runs his own motorsport firm and lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
