Son of legendary motorcyclist, Mick, Jack tried bikes first, perhaps naturally, but after getting hurt in a crash moved to 4 wheels. After success in karting, he moved to British F4 in 2018, winning 3 races. Spells in Euroformula Open and FIA Formula 3 led to a move to Formula 2, where he did very well, winning six times in total, and finishing 3rd in the series in 2023. A long-time Alpine tester/reserve, he stepped up to the main team in 2025, although he made his debut in the last race of the season at Abu Dhabi in 2024. Only seven races on, he was dropped and reverted back to being Alpine's reserve driver.
