Brother of Buddy and son of Bob. Suffered a huge accident in 2002, which sidelined him for some while. Like his brother, he found a return to the IRL difficult to achieve, becoming a driver spotter for Robby Gordon. However in 2009, he had a bit of a longer crack at the series after replacing Stanton Barrett for a number of races, but in 2010 it was again back to part-time racing, and since then, he's barely driven. Jaques now lives in California and supports his son who is karting; occasionally taking part himself. Every year up until 2018, he is still involved with Indianapolis, as he works for the Lazier Racing Enterprises team which runs brother Buddy at the '500. He does also compete in the annual Pro-Am Indianapolis event in June. Before he took up racing, Jaques raced BMX bikes and also, like his brother, competed in motocross. Jaques finest moment in racing came when he won the 2001 IRL race at Chicagoland.
