Long-time CART driver who switched to the IRL in 2005, but moved to Grand Am in 2007 and spent a bit more time running his ranch. After a few NASCAR races in 2007, he moved into the series full-time in 2008, Since 2009, he only had part-time rides, so became a contractor and renovator in Montreal, as well as working on his ranch. However, in 2011, he made a surprise return to single-seaters and attempted - but failed - to qualify for the Indianapolis 500. After this, and a couple more one-offs, he retired from racing to concentrate on his non-racing projects above. In 2014, however, he was tempted to return for a one-off World Rallycross event in Canada, and in 2016, returned to NASCAR again for a couple of races.
