Herb ran his own team when racing, and alongside his driving, ran a promotions agency, as well as working as an actor and wrestler for television and film. He also worked as a commentator for a while. However in 2013, Herb was arrested by Florida police for 248 different charges of suspected child sex abuse and possession of child pornography. In 2016, just before his trial was due, Herb pleaded guilty to 13 of the charges, which included sex with a four-year-old girl. Jon is now serving twenty five years in prison for his crimes, and has to serve at least 85 percent of his sentence, meaning he will be in his '60's by the time he is out on parole.
