Son of Bobby, nephew of Al. A true-all rounder, he had huge success in hill-climb events, raced in the IRL, sprint and sports cars and also tried his hand at rallying. Finished in drift cars, where he ran his own team before retiring for a while. However he is very much back racing in hot rods, rallies and does track tests. He also is involved in team management and sim racing. He started racing in karts in 1975 and then competed in a range of events until he took up junior open-wheel formulae in 1985. Although Robby had some good results in single-seaters, it was at Pikes Peak that he carried on the family tradition of victories - winning overall in 1992, and taking class wins in 1987, 1988, 1989, 1995 and 1996.
