Still linked to Honda and is currently Senior Vice President of the affiliated TOYO Corporation. Takeo spent over 35 years at Honda, and was both in charge of the F1 projects the firm had, as well as being head of the firm's racing activities for a while. During that time he has worked on alternative fuel programs, but first worked in the sport as a race engineer to Alain Prost in 1989, when Prost was at McLaren, and when the Frenchman moved to Ferrari, Kiuchi became Ayrton Senna's race engineer.
