Real name Brendyn. Now retired after switching to USAC competitions. Carlson, who lives in Carmel, was involved in real-estate. More recently, Carlson has been working as a bails bondsman based in Noblesville, but he also runs a motor racing team marketing business, as well as being involved in driver management and motorsport sponsorship and also runs an Indy Lights team. Carlson's career was interrupted a number of times by concussions deriving from shunts, but he carried on racing until 2009, after appearing in the CRA Super Series, which followed a number of years of appearing in sprint and midget cars.
