Now runs - as general manager - the SARD endurance racing team, based both in Japan and Europe, which ties in with Hideki's driving career in endurance as he has been based in both continents in the past. He is the sporting director of the Super GT team Taisan SARD. Noda is now largely retired as a result of his management duties, no longer making any appearances in Formula Nippon, in which he raced for a while. Hideki also previously ran another team, the Japanese A1 GP entry. Noda also runs a racing school. Noda, an unassuming likeable chap was lined up to race for Simtek in 1995, but the team went out of business before he could get his chance, and then also came close to a Forti drive in 1995 and 1996, but again missed out for varying reasons.
