Now runs a tourist centre in his native San Juan province - it is a country posada near the Cordillera de los Andes, and it is a both a working eco-farm, which specialises in horse training, organic farming and animal care, as well as a hotel with a swimming pool and pub on site. He also races in endurance horse racing and won the national title in 2007. He also heavily involved in San Juan's tourism organisations. Zunino started relatively late in motorsport and initially raced in touring cars. Bar appearing in Formula 1, his performances in the Aurora F1 series in 1979 were probably his racing highlight. After the Falklands war affected the Argentine economy and relations with Britain, Zunino returned to Argentina to do some road racing but soon gave racing up for his new life in his home province.
