Never made it to Formula 1, but his career since has compensated for that. He won the sports car prototype championship in 1988 with Jaguar and then IMSA in 1989. In 1992 and 1993, he won the Maserati Barchetta Championship, 1995 saw a BPR GT Title win, 1996 a Japanese GT Series crown, at present, his last title. Since then he was a regular driver and winner in GT and Sportscar series and also the Danish Touring Car series, in which he raced in until 2014. He has also worked as a team manager, but now is focusing more on his broadcasting, commentating and public relations roles in his homeland. Also appears more at historics now.
