Car preparation expert and mechanic who was given an one-off Indianapolis attempt. Randall raced in a number of AAA events, as well as midgets and sprints. When he first started as a riding mechanic, he was under the age required, so he grew a moustache and it worked, appearing in a couple of Indianapolis 500's in the 1930's as a result, including with Wilbur Shaw! Although Randall mostly lived in Indiana, he did base himself in North Carolina to further his career in stock cars for a while. Randall's father, Edwin, was a mechanic and once built a race car. Beinke was of German ancestry.
