Notes on the cars:
- March 85C  (Bill Tempero): Bill Tempero's #2 March 85C Can-Am car was identified at Willow Springs in 1987 by Martin Spetz as 85C-51 "ex-Rahal".
- Frissbee-Lola KR4 [Lola T400 HU9] (Jacques Villeneuve Sr): New to Eppie Wietzes (Thornhill, Ontario) and raced in the SCCA/USAC F5000 Championship in 1975 and early 1976. Retained by Wietzes until 1986 and used as show car by Canadian Tyre in mid-1980's. Sold to Horst Kroll and converted to Can-Am Frissbee specification as "Frissbee KR4" for Can-Am 1986 and CAT in 1987. Retained by Kroll until sold to Glenn Richards (Auckland, New Zealand) in mid-2010. Raced by Reg Cook in the 2010/11 F5000 Tasman Revival series, and then by Richards in the series every season from 2013/14 to 2017/18. More information about Lola T400 HU9

- March 74B/77B  (Mauro Lanaro): The early history of this car is unknown, but it may be the car raced by Gilles Léger (Lachute, Quebec) from Mosport Park in July 1974 onwards. By 1980 it was owned by Bob Roy ( Montréal, Quebec, Canada) and was being used in Can-Am. The car later went to Mauro Lanaro (Montréal, Quebec), and was raced by him in Can-Am then CAT races from 1984 to 1987. It may have been converted back to Formula Atlantic form in 1988.
- Rondel M1  (Jim Del Russo): Sold new to Chris Meek to run in British Atlantic and Libre racing with Tate of Leeds support; also used by Tom Pryce for three Atlantic races. Sold via Fred Opert to Mike Rand (Greenwich, CT) for Formula B in 1974 but damaged in a road accident. Sold still damaged, but with a new tub from Opert, to Ron Ignatowski; rebuilt and used in SCCA Formula C until 1980 when sold to Randy Zimmer as the basis for his Can Am car. Raced with a Volkswagen engine in 1982 and then with a Mazda rotary engine in 1983, 1984, 1985 and 1986. Entered for Jim Del Russo in the 1987 CAT championship. Retained by Zimmer as of 2011.
- Lightning (Dean Vetrock): Chassis "ROMLIN/7" was one of the 1977 Lighnings but is unknown before it was raced by Bobby Unser for the Teddy Yip/Dan Gurney AAR team in early 1978. Used for the opening four races before being replaced by the team's new 1978 Eagle. To Richard Hoffman (Milford, OH) for 1979 and raced by Joe Saldana as the #59 or #69 car during 1979 and 1980. These numbers were also used by the team's old 1972 Eagle and exactly how they were used may still be uncertain. The Lightning was run in practice at the 1981 Indy 500 with modified sidepods and nose but was crashed by Saldana. It was acquired by Dean Vetrock for 1982, but he failed to qualify for the Indy 500 and did not appear again. Vetrock raced this car briefly in the CAT (ex-Can-Am) series in 1987. The car was later acquired by Tom Tatalovich Racing Services (Golden Valley, AZ) and restored to AAR livery. Sold at a Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. Subsequent history unknown.
- March 85C  (Buddy Lazier): Buddy Lazier's #19 March 85C Can-Am car was identified at Willow Springs in 1987 by Martin Spetz as 85C-08 "ex-Rahal".
- Royale S2000M  (Jeff Wright): Jeff Wright's Royale was entered as a RP37, the 1984 Sports 2000 model, but Wright's son has confirmed to Martin Krejci that it was a 1981 S2000M, chassis 17. Royale records, quoted in Paul Lawrence's book "Nowhere To Hide", show that this car was originally invoiced to Cooke Racing in the US. According to Doug Waters, the car used a standard Ford Pinto engine for its Can-Am and CAT appearances.
The identification of individual cars in these results is based on the material presented elsewhere in this site and may in some cases contradict the organisers' original results.
