Collet rose through the normal ranks of feeder racing before starting single-seaters in 2018, winning the French Formula 4 title in his very first year of racing. He then became a regular in FIA Formula 3, and won 3 times in 3 seasons, before moving to the US and Indy NXT. In 2024, he came third in the championship and in 2025, finished runner-up, impressing enough to earn an Indycar chance in 2026 with the AJ Foyt team
