Peter has bases in England, France and the US, and spends the year between the three. Has been involved in many projects in the past, including his 'Candy Apple' garage/racing concern, but also ran a mail orders accessories and video production firm. His wife, June, has also run a number of fashion boutiques. Peter was in the RAF, and this led to him taking up mechanical engineering, which led to racing. Quit racing because of his young children and because of Alan Stacey's death. Later helped Perry McCarthy's career and more recently has been renovating old timber framed cottages. One of his then young children, Ian, has grown up to be a designer, including for Reynard, Dallara and a number of IRL teams.
