Real name Frederick, amongst Duncan's major achievements were winning the Walsh Stadium track title in 1939, the same year he won Raceway Park's track title, and then repeating both feats in 1940. He then won the Riverview Speedway track title in 1941, despite suffering burns in a bad crash earlier in the year. He won at Walsh again after World War Two in both 1946 and 1947, and continued taking midget wins until the early 1950's.
