Highly rated F1 driver, who moved to Mercedes in 2017, after four seasons with Williams. His second year was outstanding, finishing 4th in the series, after a difficult debut season in 2013, and as such, Bottas was retained for 2016. Valtteri won two titles in 2008, including the Formula Renault Eurocup, but his stock really rose after winning the 2011 GP3 series. Bottas remained at Mercedes until the end of the 2021 season before choosing to switch to Alfa Romeo in 2022 to become their team leader. He remains in that role for 2024 in the rebranded Stake F1 team.
