Worked as a BMW sales rep/ambassador, but in truth, his racing involvement was relatively limited other than sportscars, but he is still linked to one of his racing colleagues as he is a director at fellow Formula 2 driver Laurent-Georges Ferrier's watch business. Servanin raced in sportscars from 1973 until 1985, with just under half his races coming in partnership with Ferrier, and Francois was often seen in a Lola T294. The pair took a number of class wins over the years.
