Brother of Michel. Now a driver coach who runs a racing school. He still races, appearing in the Fun Cup events via his school, or in the big endurance events in Europe like the V de V series, Michelin Le Mans Cup and the GT4 European Southern Cup. He also appears at events like the Dubai 24 Hours at the Mugello 12 Hours. Alain's rise through the racing ranks up to Formula 3000 was impressive as he won the French Formula Renault title in 1979 and then French Formula 3's championship the following year. But Formula 3000 never worked out and so Alain raced in sportscars, notably winning the 1990 British Empire Trophy, but also touring cars, and he raced in the DTM, winning three times in 1989.
