Last raced a full season back in 1996, in CART. He has done the odd race since, mostly in the US and mostly in sportscars, but now retired. More recently, he has helped Corrado with the family business and also works as engineer in Italy. Teo was, despite being six years older, the last of the two brothers to follow his father - who raced Abarths whilst enjoying weekends off from owner a talcum powder mine - into racing, but in the end enjoyed a more sustained and successful F1 career. Fabi won the 1991 World Sportscar Championship and the 1979 New Zealand Formula Pacific title as well as 4 CART races. Teo - short for Teodorico - was actually a skiier in his youth before taking up racing.
