Now lives in Le Touquet. Recently has done some rallying, ice racing and karting, but had to stop briefly due to family issues. Although he works in driver management and racing administration, he has not retired driving yet. Former manager of Bruno Spengler. Also plays golf in his spare time and was involved in real estate and more recently has become involved in the adminstration and running of an accident rehabilitation centre in Le Touquet. He was another driver setback, like Herbert, by the F3000 Brands Hatch crash in 1988, as injury prevented him racing for Tyrrell that year in F1.
