Since F1, Stephane was a Toyota F1 test driver and a Dallara Nissan racer, but then went into rally driving and the World Rally Championship. Dropped for 2007, he moved to endurance racing and finished 2nd at the 2007 Le Mans, but also then returned to rallying in 2010. Now mainly in sportscars, and the World Endurance Championship, but is still rallying and appears (and even wins) in the European Rally Championship. In 2017, he set up his own motorsport team which competes in rallying and sportscars, including the Asian Le Mans Series.
