Sadly passed away after a brave battle against cancer. Raced on for years, until well in his 60's, but until illness, he continued to test cars on his own track near the Le Mans circuit. Also worked as a racing driver instructor. A very loyal, charming man, Francois impressed in French Formula 3, winning a race at Nogaro in 1971, but it was in sportscars that Migault then enjoyed a very long career, carrying on appearing at his local track and the annual 24 Hour race until 2002, finishing second once and third twice. Francois was often in demand for speed testing during his career, once hitting 416 kilometres an hour in a private test in the 1980's.
