Tried to make a career for himself in the US, as he raced in CCWS in 2004 and 2005 and then in Champ Car Atlantic, but is now back living in Brazil. There he is head of Sperafico Amazonia, which is an agricultural business with links to transports, farms and factories. He is also a PR spokesperson for a Brazilian juice drink. Only races for fun now.
