Became vice-champion in 2007, on the very same day his cousin Rafael was killed in a crash. In 2011, he also moved into GT's in his homeland and in 2015, with Ricardo, moved to the Blancpain Endurance series, with a Brazillian team. However one year later, he went back to stock cars in his homeland, but hasn't had a drive since 2016 and spends most of his time running the three businesses he and Rodrigo have; two agricultural businesses (a wholesale firm and a farming business) and one sporting promotional and production business.
