This followed a brief, but rather unsuccessful, IRL spell in 2013, a year which Barrichello combined his Stateside driving to work as a TV commentator and summariser. Lives in his home city, but also has a base in Portugal. In 2017, Barrichello took up more sportscar racing, including racing at Le Mans.
