A misunderstanding with Bertrand Gachot and Pacific denied Gavin a GP in 1995, but he has led more GP�s than most as the long-time driver of the FIA safety car. But this was not his only motorsport foray, for he has been in ALMS, GT�s and the Porsche Supercup since. Now mostly in America, racing sportscars and GT�s, winning the GT ALMS title in 2005 and 2007.
