Had a varied career after Formula 3000, including sportscars and being the Grand Prix Masters test driver. Then worked as a driver coach and worked as Manor's Head of Driver Development. He was also involved in the management of running the team in their new form in the World Endurance Championship, after a spell in the same role with the Formula 1 team. 2014, however, saw a surprise return to racing for Marc, in the British Touring Car Championship. Marc for some while ran Project Forty Four, which is a marketing and promotion business supporting Lewis Hamilton but in 2021, he has gone into other promotion and marketing and no longer worked with Hamilton. In 2024, Hamilton returned to Hynes' management. Hynes' rise up to Formula 3000 was incredibly impressive - he won the 1995 British Formula Vauxhall Junior title, the 1997 British Formula Renault title and then, in 1999, the British F3 Championship ahead of the likes of Burti and Button.
